We’re giving you more flexibility across our fares so you can travel with peace of mind.
You can change your travel date, with no exchange fee, as many times as you want up to 7 days before your departure. And child tickets bought after 30 July 2021 can be exchanged for free at any point before you travel. We just ask that you pay any difference in fare if your new ticket is more expensive than your original.

Fare conditions
Each travel class has its own conditions, too. These affect how and when you can change your ticket, and whether or not you can cancel your trip and get a refund.
Standard
You can change the date or time of your journey – subject to availability – before the planned departure of your original train, by paying a fee of £30 and any difference in fare. These tickets are non-refundable.
For bookings including a TGV or Thalys train, changes must be made before departure of the first train on each leg of the journey.
Standard Premier
You can change the date or time of your journey – subject to availability – before the planned departure of your original train, by paying a fee of £40 and any difference in fare. These tickets are non-refundable.
For bookings including a TGV or Thalys train, changes must be made before departure of the first train on each leg of the journey.
Business Premier
You can change the date or time of your journey – subject to availability – free of charge, or request a full refund any time before or up to 60 days after departure - except on Netherlands routes.
Business Premier tickets to Amsterdam or Rotterdam Centraal are flexible up until departure, but you can’t exchange or get a refund after the train’s scheduled departure time.
