What facilities are there for families?

While there won’t be dedicated family areas on the e300 or the e320, both have been designed with the needs of families in mind....

Will the toilets be better?

The e320 has more toilets than the TMST and the e300 toilets have been completely refurbished....

I can’t seem to watch videos on BBC, CNN etc. Why is that?

To make sure everyone can enjoy a seamless connection, we’ll be limiting access to some news sites that have a lot video content...

Why isn’t my connection working, despite the on board wi-fi signal being strong

Our free wi-fi uses 3G and 4G signals en route. Due to the nature of the mobile connections, the quality of Internet connection will vary....

The wi-fi isn’t working. Will you refund my ticket?

Our wi-fi and entertainment is free for all travellers, so it’s not a service that is included in our compensation policy....

How secure is the network?

Although the network is an open network, we’ve implemented lots of safeguards, so it shouldn’t be possible for other users to get unauthorised access to your device....

Are there rubbish bins?

Yes, there are. We’ll have a number of larger rubbish bins underneath the glass partitions in each coach....

Can I connect to the entertainment system through Facebook?

No, our wi-fi and entertainment is only available through the Eurostar app and your device’s browser....

Do you have an iPad app?

We don’t have an iPad app yet, but you can access our onboard entertainment by going to onboard.eurostar.com on your web browser....

Will we have to pay?

No, access to wi-fi and on board entertainment is free for everyone....

Will it work in the Channel Tunnel?

Yes, subject to connectivity...

Why is more content available when using the Eurostar app?

There are certain usage rights that we need to stick to, and making content available on the app means it’s protected from being copied or shared onto other devices....

How are the trains powered?

Our new e320 trains are electric. They’ve got distributed traction motors powering bogies throughout the train...
