Will my Eurostar Frequent Traveller points or account ever expire? - Eurostar Help Centre

Will my Eurostar Frequent Traveller points or account ever expire?

As long as you travel at least once each membership year, your account will stay active.

While your account’s active, your points are valid for three years from the date you earn them.

If a membership year passes and you’ve not travelled, you’ll have 12 months to use your points before your account is closed.

When will my Eurostar™ Frequent Traveller points expire?
Whatever your Eurostar™ Frequent Traveller membership tier, all points are valid for three years from the date you earn them. On 30 September 2016, we’ll be updating our system and all unused points over three years old will expire.

Can I see in my online account how many points are due to expire?
Unfortunately not, but if you have any questions about your points, just get in touch  with our dedicated Eurostar™ Frequent Traveller team.

Can you top up my points so I have enough to claim a reward?
Unfortunately we can’t give you any extra points unless you buy and travel on a Eurostar ticket, or earn points through our partners. Find out more >

If I redeem my points on a gift, when will it be delivered?
Since we’re receiving so many orders at the moment, it may take up to 28 days to receive your gift.

I’ve lost the email you sent telling me how many points are due to expire. Can you send it again?
As it was an automatic email, unfortunately we can’t send it again. If you get in touch  with our dedicated Eurostar™ Frequent Traveller team though, we’d be happy to check your points for you.

I want to spend my points on a ticket but I haven’t decided where or when to go yet. Can you extend the expiry deadline?
You’ve got until 30 September to decide, so there’s no rush. Don’t forget, you can book up to six months ahead for most routes, subject to availability, and tickets booked using your Eurostar™ Frequent Traveller points can be exchanged once before departure (exchanges are unlimited for Eurostar™ carte blanche holders), so you can always change your plans nearer the time. Check when to book >

The number of points you’ve said will expire is incorrect. What can I do?
Just get in touch  with our dedicated Eurostar™ Frequent Traveller team and we’ll be happy to check your account for you.

My account is currently inactive, will I still be able to use the points that are about to expire?
It all depends on when your membership year ends and if you plan to travel (and reactivate your account) before then.

For instance, if your membership year ends on 30 June and you don’t plan to travel before then, you’ll need to use your points before 30 June.

If you book a paid Eurostar ticket (not a points ticket) and travel before 30 June though, your account will be reactivated and you’ll have until 30 September to use your expiring points.

Can I transfer my points to someone else’s Eurostar™ Frequent Traveller account?
Unfortunately not.

Is there a limit on how  many shopping or gift vouchers I can claim with my points?
No, we’ve removed the limit on how many shopping or gift vouchers can be claimed at once, so you can make the most of your points.

If I use my points, will it affect my membership tier?
No, redeeming your points won’t affect your membership tier.
