What is a companion voucher and how do they work?
If you’re an Étoile member, you’ll be allocated two companion vouchers each membership year. Each voucher allows you to book a complimentary return journey for a travel companion.
These companion vouchers can only be used when booking a reward points ticket for yourself in Eurostar Standard or Eurostar Plus. And you must book and travel within the same membership year. You needn’t book both tickets at the same time – you can add a companion ticket to an existing booking later. But you must travel on the same train.
Only one companion voucher can be used per booking, whether the journey is one way or includes a return. To make the most of your vouchers, we suggest you use each one to book a return ticket.
No digital or physical vouchers are issued, and you can make a companion booking by getting in touch with our Contact Centre.

You’ll be able to see the expiry date of your voucher in the Club vouchers section of your Club Eurostar account. If you’ve already used your voucher, the booking reference and the date you used it will show instead.
Any reward tickets and companion tickets booked together will be non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.
