How does my Club Eurostar free upgrade voucher work?
Who gets them
The following people receive one voucher:
- Avantage, Carte Blanche, or Étoile members at the start of their membership year.
- Members who move up to Avantage, Carte Blanche, or Étoile during their membership year.
What they do
They let one person upgrade their one-way booking or a leg of a return journey from Eurostar Standard to Eurostar Plus.* They can only be used on bookings with a single passenger but they work on any of our direct routes and even let you book dates that are outside of your current membership year.
How to use them
Follow these steps:
- Log in to your account
- Find an eligible booking
- Select view / manage booking
- Select upgrade booking under Booking options**
When they expire
Unused vouchers expire when your membership renews. Exact expiry dates can be found next to each voucher in the club vouchers section of your account.
What happens if you move down a level or close your account
If either occurs during your membership year, you’ll lose your upgrade voucher.
How to cancel a booking
If you’d like to cancel a booking and you’ve used an upgrade voucher, please get in touch with our contact centre. If the booking was made during the previous membership year, the voucher will not be returned.
How to exchange a booking
If you’d like to exchange a booking and you’ve used an upgrade voucher, you’ll just need to pay any difference between your original fare (excluding the upgrade voucher) and your new fare.

**Vouchers can only be used on direct Eurostar journeys. They cannot be used on reward tickets, Snap tickets, Any Belgian Station tickets, Train + Hotel packages or Interrail tickets.
