What documents do I need to bring?

Travelling to and from London
You’ll need a valid passport. National ID cards can only be used in a limited number of cases -
Depending on your nationality and the purpose and duration of your stay, you may need additional travel documents, like a visa.
Border rules are changing for visitors to the UK who don’t need a visa. Find out if you’ll need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) for your journey.
Make sure you have everything you need or you may not be able to travel.
Travelling between Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Germany
Your ticket will be checked during the pre-departure process and on board.
You may also be asked to present an identity document during ticket checks or a random customs inspection.
Authorisation to leave the country:
Any minor living in France who travels to another country without a parent or guardian must have:
- Their identity document
- A completed and signed Autorisation de sortie de territoire (AST) form
- A copy of an identity document or passport of their parent/guardian who has signed the AST
Without this authorisation, your child will not be allowed to board.
