Can I change my booking?

We understand that many passengers are changing their travel plans based on government advice, travel restrictions, or to protect their loved ones. Please see the latest advice and our latest travel policies on our coronavirus information page.

Date and time

You can change your travel date, with no exchange fee, as many times as you want up to 7 days before your departure.
We just ask that you pay any difference in fare if your new ticket is more expensive than your original.
Child tickets can be exchanged with no change fee at any point before you travel, but must also pay any fare difference.

You can still change your booking within 7 days of your departure time, but you’ll need to pay a non-refundable exchange fee, plus a difference in fare if you move to a more expensive train.
Where tickets were purchased before 30/01/2023 an exchange fee of £30 per person, per individual journey will apply to tickets in Standard and an exchange fee of £40 per person, per individual journey will apply to tickets in Standard Premier.

Where tickets were purchased on or after 30/01/2023 an exchange fee of £30 per person, per individual journey will apply to tickets in both Standard and Standard Premier.

If the new fare is less expensive, unfortunately we can't refund the difference.

Business Premier tickets can be changed free of charge up to 60 days after your planned departure if you’re travelling to any destination except Amsterdam or Rotterdam.

Business Premier tickets on our London to Amsterdam route need to be changed before your train is due to depart.

Club Eurostar members can exchange tickets bought with points once before departure, subject to availability. If you’re exchanging a Value ticket for an Anytime ticket, or upgrading to Standard Premier, you’ll have to pay the difference in points.
If you made your booking at, over the phone or at our ticket office, simply go to Manage your Booking and log in using your six-letter booking reference and last name.

If you decide to call or visit us at our ticket office to make an exchange, please note that a service fee of £10 per transaction applies to Standard and Standard Premier bookings.
If you booked through a travel agent, please get in touch with them to organise an exchange.

If you change your mind about where you're going, you'll need to buy a new ticket.
Only the person named on the ticket may use it, but don’t worry if you’ve just made a tiny spelling mistake. There’s no need to let us know, just turn up and travel as normal.
If your passport or ID's in your maiden name but your ticket's in your married name, just bring a copy of your marriage certificate with you when you travel. There’s no need to make any changes to your booking or let us know in advance.
If someone else would like to travel, they'll need to book a new ticket.
