Can I cancel and get a refund online?

We understand that many passengers are changing their travel plans based on government advice, travel restrictions, or to protect their loved ones. Please see the latest advice and our latest travel policies on our coronavirus information page.

Tickets bought from 1st July 2020 will provide added flexibility. You'll be able to change your travel date, with no exchange fee, as many times as you want up to and including 7 days before your departure date. We just ask that you pay any fare difference if your new train cost is higher than your original.

You can find out more here.

Whether or not you can get a refund and if you can request it online depends on which travel class you chose and how you booked.

Online bookings – Standard or Standard Premier
If you decide not to travel, there’s no need to cancel.

These tickets are non-refundable but you can change your ticket before the planned departure of your original train.
You can easily rearrange your trip without paying an exchange fee up to 7 full days before departure. You'll only pay the difference in fare.
You can still change your booking within 7 days of your departure, but you'll need to pay an exchange fee
(£30 for Standard, £40 for Standard Premier) plus any difference in fare, per person per leg of the journey.

If the new fare is less expensive, unfortunately we can't refund the difference.

To exchange tickets booked at eurostar.com, go to Manage your booking and use your six-letter booking reference and last name to log in. Then just click Change journey dates or times and follow the instructions.

If you'd rather do it over the phone or in person, a service fee of £10 per transaction applies to Standard and Standard Premier bookings and exchanges made over the phone or at the station.

To refund your Business Premier ticket, go to Manage your booking and use your six-letter booking reference and last name to log in. Then just click Cancel journey and follow the instructions.

We'll send you an email when it’s all done and the money will appear in your account within five working days.
