When should I arrive at the station before travelling between London and the Netherlands?

Travelling from London to the Netherlands:
If you’re travelling in Standard or Standard Premier, please arrive at the station 45-60 minutes before your train departs. This will give you enough time to pass through the ticket gates, security and passport control. Ticket gates will close 30 minutes before departure.
Ticket gates for Business Premier travellers or Carte Blanche holders close 10 minutes before your train departs.

Travelling from Amsterdam…
…to London:
The Eurostar departure building on platform 15b will open 90 minutes before your train departs. If you’re travelling in Standard or Standard Premier, please arrive at the station 45-60 minutes before departure.
Eurostar ticket checks will close 30 minutes before departure.
If you’re travelling in Business Premier, ticket checks will close 20 minutes before departure.

…to London via Brussels:
Please arrive at the station at least 20 minutes before your Thalys train departs.

…to Brussels only:
Please arrive at the station at least 20 minutes before departure. While you don’t need to go through security and passport control, station staff and police offers may carry out random security checks before you board.

Although you can bring alcohol with you and we serve alcohol on board, safety is our top priority. So, please drink in moderation.
If you behave in an antisocial way which ruins the journey for other passengers or break any laws or by-laws, we might ask you to leave the train at the nearest station.
